WhatsApp testing feature to transfer history from Android to iOS

WhatsApp is currently developing several innovative features that will improve the overall user experience. Earlier this month, the messaging app was observed experimenting with the idea of transferring chat history from Android to iOS.

Previously, WhatsApp has previously made it possible to transfer chat history from iOS devices to Samsung and Google Pixel smartphones and tablets. WhatsApp CEO Will Cathcart has stated that the messaging service will soon be able to transfer chat history from Android to iOS devices, as previously reported.

Users of Android and iOS devices had a tough time transferring their conversation history before WhatsApp introduced the chat history migration option. Moving to a new operating system meant that previous conversations were no longer accessible. WhatsApp, on the other hand, has made things easier now.

Users of iOS smartphones may now transfer their conversations to Samsung devices. The messaging software has now added compatibility for Google’s Pixel smartphones. Also predicted was the addition of conversation migration capability for phones running Android 12 devices soon.

According to the most recent upgrades, WhatsApp has been intensively testing the feature of transferring chats from Android to iOS. Wabetanifo discovered the new update while testing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.21.20.11. According to the source, an “import conversation history from Android” option has been discovered in the WhatsApp beta for the iOS version.

WhatsApp was also seen working on the ability to pause and resume voice communications on the beta version of its desktop application, which was released earlier this year. Currently, WhatsApp beta users have the option of listening to voice messages before sending them on the desktop, but the users will soon be able to pause and restart the recording sessions. You may use this function to listen to a voice note before sending it, to remove a voice note, or to resume the recording at any point throughout the recording.

It is currently possible to pause and resume conversations on WhatsApp for iOS devices. It has not yet been made accessible on the Android beta platform, but it will be made available at a later date. Keep in mind that the features are presently in development and are not ready for a stable release at this time.

After we get these updates, iOS users would be happier to utilize it and it is also good for individuals switching from android to iOS newly.

WhatsApp is a free messaging software for smartphones that can be downloaded from the app store or google play store. WhatsApp sends messages, photos, music, and video through the internet.
