The Ozark National Scenic River ways Quarter is available in both a silver and gold variety. The silver variety contains 90% silver and 10% copper. The silver variety will have the “S” mintmark on the coin. The gold-plated variety is also available for collectors and will be worth about $20 to $25. These coins are not worth much unless you own a large collection of them. You can use them as you see fit, or save them to increase their value.
The reverse design of the 2017 Ozark Riverways quarter is identical to the one on the American the Beautiful coins. It features the portrait of George Washington by John Flanagan. The obverse features the words “United States of America” and “Ozark Riverways, Missouri.”

This is the first Ozark National Scenic Riverways quarter to use the P mint mark. Previously, the P mint mark is located above the R in QUARTER. In addition, the mint mark was moved to the front of the coin, while Washington’s hair tie is hidden behind the coin.
